Ramona Koschak, 70, of Hutchinson, died Monday, March 4, 2024 in Latrobe Hospital. She was born January 20, 1954 in New Eagle, the daughter of Charles and Ardith Boyd Downer.

Ramona was a 1972 graduate of Ringgold High School. In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing and camping. She loved riding around in her golf cart, floating in the pool, looking at the stars, feeding birds and squirrels, and watching softball.

She is survived by three sons, Brian (Erin) Watkins, Timothy Watkins, all of West Newton, Christopher (Deena) Watkins of Smithton; five grandchildren, Makaylah, Addison, Brycen, Nova, and Maci; two sisters, Diane (Ed) Avau of Carroll Township, Cindy (James) Tatar of Monongahela; and her beloved dog, Lugnut.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Koschak; brother, Raymond "Butch" Downer; and her twin sister, Rebecca Downer.

Friends will be received on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 3-7 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Mark Woomer officiating. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
