Richard "Rick" C. Dienert, 65, of Finleyville, died Wednesday, March 20, 2024 in the Jefferson Hospital. He was born April 17, 1958 in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Richard "Bud" E. and Joan Donatelli Dienert.

Rick was a 1977 graduate of Ringgold High School, Monongahela Division. For the past forty five years he owned and operated Dienert Trucking in Finleyville.

You could always see Rick tinkering on his truck and riding his Harley. Together with his wife, Carole, they enjoyed going to the Pittsburgh Penguin games, going out to eat, attending concerts - especially Jimmy Buffet (true Parrot Heads), and vacationing in Hilton Head.

He is survived by his wife, Carole Demcisak Dienert, with whom he celebrated thirty six years of marriage on June 14, 2023; sister, Terry (James) Morriston of Lecanto, Florida, and their daughter, Jessica; sister-in-law, Barbara Demcisak; and his beloved cat, Josie.

Friends will be received on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 10-11 AM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jude Urso officiating.
