Richard Martin Friberg, 54, of Ruffs Dale, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 15, 2026. He was born July 10, 1971 in Jefferson Hills, the son of the late George and Sharon Firle Friberg.

Richard was currently employed by Penn Service in Smithton. He loved camping, dirt car racing, hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and hanging with his friends. He was always happy with a smile on his face.

He is survived by his wife, Heidi Friberg, with whom he celebrated 20 years of marriage on February 25, 2026, and 25 years altogether; son, Jimmy Friberg; step-son, Kevin (Kristin) Wilson and their children, Treytin, Mercy, and Creed; sister, Heidi (Ralph) Barnhart and children, Annika, Isabella, and Elizabeth.

Friends will be received on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 3-7 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela.
