Robert E. Martin's Obituary
Robert E. Martin, 66 of Gainesville, Georgia, formerly of Finleyville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 27, 2018. He was born January 3, 1952 in New Eagle, a son of the late Jack and Elizabeth Stout Martin. Bob was a graduate of Monongahela High School, class of 1969. After graduation, he worked in the construction industry. He moved to Georgia in the 1980's where he mainly worked in sales for various construction companies and was a member of the Georgia Wildlife Shooting Range. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing guitar. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Leaving to cherish his memory is a brother, William Martin and his wife, Michele of Finleyville; and two nephews, Ross Martin and his wife Cara of Plum and Samuel Martin of Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Jack Martin. Bob will be laid to rest in the family plot at Finleyville Cemetery.
