Ronald J. Barwell, Jr., 76, of Finleyville, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in his home. He was born October 22, 1941 in Pittsburgh, the son of Ronald J. and Marie Jenkins Barwell.
Ron was a member of Crossroads Ministries/Library Baptist Church in Finleyville. He retired with over 30 years of employment from the Operating Engineers Local #66 in Monroeville as a heavy equipment operator. Ron belonged to several area gun clubs, enjoyed target shooting and spent time at the YMCA belonging to it's Silver Sneakers. In his younger years, he was a volunteer fireman for the Library Volunteer Fire Co.
He is survived by his son, Brian Barwell of Finleyville; daughter, Linda and husband William Brennan of West Palm Beach, Florida; four grandchildren, Nichole, Danielle, Brittany, and Alexis Brennan; aunt, Martha Christman and cousin, Divida Kocuba, both of Imperial.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Carol Adams Barwell who died October 31, 2012.
There will be no visitations or funeral service.
