Sandra L. Smoot, 75, of Monongahela, died Monday, June 24, 2024 in her home. She was born December 16, 1948 in New Eagle, the daughter of the late John and Rozella  Fischer Zurkow.

Sandra was a 1967 graduate of Donora High School and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Monessen. She was employed as a seamstress at Brookvale Sewing Factory in Monessen and at Cicci's Dance Supply in Finleyville until 2009.
Sandra was an avid Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins fan.

She is survived by her husband, John M. Smoot, with whom she celebrated 51 years of marriage on April 28, 2024; daughter, Kimberly Smoot (James Kliza) of Monongahela; grandson, Jacob Kliza, who was Sandra's pride and joy; sister,  JoAnn Jones of Frederick, Maryland; niece, Lisa (Boyd) Donnelley; nephew, Timothy (Ann) Massey, and their daughters, Jacqueline and Kathrine Massey.

Services for Sandra were private.
