Sandra "Sandi" Willene Sutphin, 56, of Finleyville, died unexpectedly Wednesday, August 12, 2026 in her home. She was born April 2, 1970 in Edmonton, Ab, Canada, the daughter of the late James and Linda Whalen Boyd.

For a few years, Sandi was employed in the deli department at the Monongahela Foodland. She was passionate about making Native American jewelry and liked to sell her creations at the Native American events in various states. She loved her animals, enjoyed horseback riding and spending time in her vegetable garden.

She is survived by her loving companion, Joseph Hatfield with whom she shared the past 32 years; her children, Candi Sutphin and Tiffany Hagerman of Martinsburg, West Virginia,

Khari Hatfield and Nathan Hatfield both at home, Jason Hatfield of Kentucky, Aireal Hatfield of Milton, West Virginia; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, James (Jodie) Boyd of Eighty Four; sister, Jennie Perry of Martinsburg, West Virginia; and a host of nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitations or funeral service. The family is planning a celebration of life at their home on Saturday, August 22, 2026 starting at noon.
