Stanley Frank Hoffman, 81, of Finleyville, died Saturday, September 17, 2016 in Rock Creek, Ohio. He was born March 23, 1935 in Pittsburgh, the son of  Zigmond Hoffman and Mary Williams Penn.
Stan was retired from US Steel Homestead Works with over forty years of employment and was Catholic by faith.
He is survived by three children, David T. Hoffman of Rock Creek, Ohio, Lynn and husband Chris Hetrick of Finleyville, Stan Hoffman Jr. and wife Belinda of McKeesport; sixteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where  a blessing service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 11:00 am with the Rev. William Terza officiating. Interment will follow in Mingo Cemetery, Finleyville.
