Thomas V. Lewis' Obituary
Thomas V. Lewis, 80, of Bunola, died Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Haven Crest Nursing Home, Monongahela. He was born November 1, 1936 in Bunola, the son of George W. and Mary Frances Gibbons Lewis.
Tom retired with over twenty years of employment from Chemply Inc. in Bunola and was a member of the Bunola Church of the Nazarene. He loved caring for and riding horses, hunting and was an avid fan of John Wayne.
He is survived by two sons, Scott Lewis and wife Cynthia of Greensburg, Jason Lewis of Mount Pleasant; granddaughter, Amelia Lewis, whom he adored; a brother and three sisters, James Lewis and Edna Lewis, with whom he made his home, Rita Moermond of Fayetteville, Ohio, Katherine Kohut and husband Ronald of Spring Hill, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George Lewis.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Ronald Doran officiating. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
