Virginia "Charlie" Valentino's Obituary
Virginia Lee "Charlie" Valentino, 74, of Elizabeth, died Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in the Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born June 22, 1943 in New Eagle, a daughter of the late Robert Nelson and Mary Alice Runyan Pearce.
Virginia was retired from JC Penney at Century III mall where she worked in the drapery department and was a member of the River Hill Church of Christ. She enjoyed planting flowers in her yard, traveling, going to lunch with her friends and spending time with her dog, Buttons.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly and husband Allan Herbst and Scott and wife Dawn Valentino, all of Elizabeth, four grandchildren, Natalie and Jeffrey Herbst, Alyssa and husband Anthony Plumberg and Vincent Valentino. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ross "Buzz" Valentino, Jr. on March 14, 2005, and a sister, Norma Henderson.
There will be no visitations or funeral service per Virginia's request. Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Christian, 472 Killarney Road, Mill Run, PA 15464. The Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela is in charge of the arrangements.
