William "Bill" F. Burge, Jr., 74, of Monongahela, died Tuesday, July 8, 2025 in the Jefferson Hospital. He was born April 29, 1951 in New Eagle, the son of William F. and Ruth Whitehead Burge.

Bill was a 1969 graduate of Monongahela High School. He was employed at Mathies Coal Mine in New Eagle until its closing and finished his career with 18 Karat Inc. in Eighty Four.

Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing at camp Moncharglen in Potter County. He also loved snowmobiling with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Toni Coleman Burge with whom he celebrated forty one years of marriage on October 1, 2024; son, Louie Wall of Monongahela; grandson, Jesse Chisholm; two sisters, Joan (Joseph) Evans, and Doris Forsberg, all of Monongahela; brother, Dean (Stephanie) Burge of Finleyville; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rena Burge; and four siblings, James Burge, Wendy Burge, Jean Fisher and Ginny Lee Watson.

Friends will be received on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
