James Bradley Schuster, 54, of Monongahela, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 4, 2015. He was born June 6, 1961 in Alameda, California, the son of James Charles and Carole Crompton Schuster who survive and reside in Monongahela. Jim was a 1979 graduate of Ringgold High School. He then enrolled in the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics where he graduated at the top of his class. After graduation, he worked for both Delta and US Air in Pittsburgh. For the past twenty one years, he was employed by Avalotis Painting Contractors in Verona, where he currently was their quality control manager. Since he was a teenager, Jim could be seen helping with the family business, Jim's Bar in Monongahela. Jim was a great athlete as well as a phenomenal mechanic. He loved his family, enjoyed golfing and riding his Harley. In addition to his parents, he is survived by Barbara Megela with whom he shared six beautiful years; son, Andrew Schuster of Chicago, Illinois; grandson, Koa; three sisters, Valerie Rocco and husband Bart, and their son, Philip of Elizabeth, Jodi Mahaffey and husband Richard, and their daughter, Carley of Kings Port, TN, Roseann Morales and husband Rafael, and his daughters, Jackie and Renee' of Bridgeville; Barb's son, Mario Carcella of Belle Vernon; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him so much. Jim was preceded in death by his son, Sam Schuster who died March 21, 2014. Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Mark Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
